Učilište EU PROJEKTI, an adult education institution with its registered office at Zavrtnica 17, 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB: 55141567365, company registration number (MBS): 080938833, email: info@uep.hr, telephone: +385 1 5534 878, acting as the controller of personal data, processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation, and other applicable regulations of the Republic of Croatia.

What Data We Collect

We may collect and process personal data that you provide to us directly, in particular through contact forms, registrations for training courses and programmes, enquiries, contracts, newsletter subscriptions, and other communication with us. This may include your name and surname, email address, telephone number, data required for registration, enrolment, and attendance in programmes, data required for issuing certificates and confirmations, data from contractual and accounting documentation, and data that you provide to us in business communication.

Through our website, we may also collect technical data via cookies and similar technologies, including data on website usage, device, browser, IP address, and interactions with content, to the extent permitted and properly configured through cookie settings.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Cookies, Analytics and Marketing

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the website, analyse traffic, improve user experience, and display relevant content and promotions. For these purposes, we use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel.

We use Google Analytics for statistical analysis of website usage and content improvement, and Meta Pixel to measure campaign effectiveness and better understand user interactions with content. Non-essential cookies are activated only on the basis of your consent through the cookie settings on the website. Google states that data for devices from the EU is first collected on domains and servers in the EU before further processing in Analytics systems.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will process your email address and, where necessary, your name and surname for the purpose of sending notifications about training courses, programmes, news, offers, and other content related to the activities of Učilište EU PROJEKTI.

For sending newsletters, we use the Mailchimp platform as our processor. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link included in each message or by sending a request to info@uep.hr. Mailchimp states that standard contractual clauses are automatically incorporated through its Data Processing Addendum for European data transfers.

Transfer of Data Outside the European Economic Area

Certain service providers we use, especially in the fields of analytics, advertising, and newsletter communication, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States of America. In such cases, the transfer is carried out with the application of appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable regulations, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another permitted protection mechanism. Mailchimp expressly states the application of standard contractual clauses through its DPA for European transfers.

Data Retention Period

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as required by legal, contractual, and internal obligations.

Data processed on the basis of consent is retained until consent is withdrawn, unless there is another legal basis for its further processing or retention.

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the right to:

  • request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data
  • request erasure of data, where the legal conditions are met
  • request restriction of processing
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest

  • lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency

The Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency, as the national supervisory authority, oversees the implementation of personal data protection upon a data subject’s request or ex officio.
