The Introduction to Agile (Scrum) programme is a practical training programme lasting 16 class hours, intended for anyone who wants to understand the basics of agile ways of working and learn how the Scrum framework helps teams deliver value through an incremental, adaptive, and collaborative approach. The programme provides participants with a clear understanding of agile values and principles, Scrum roles, ceremonies, and artefacts, with a particular emphasis on the importance of feedback, team dynamics, and continuous improvement. Through practical exercises, simulations, and training, participants acquire knowledge they can apply in product work, projects, and team processes. The value of the programme lies in introducing participants to one of the most widely used agile frameworks in a clear, structured, and practical way.

  1. History of the Agile Approach and Understanding Agility
    Participants are introduced to the development of the agile approach, its core concepts, and the differences between agile and traditional ways of working. The emphasis is on understanding what agility means in practice.
  2. Types of Processes and the Lean Approach
    This unit covers the basic types of processes and introduces lean as an approach that supports efficiency, the elimination of waste, and continuous improvement of work.
  3. Why Agile. Values and Principles
    This unit addresses the reasons for applying the agile approach and the key values and principles that form the foundation of agile work and team collaboration.
  4. Scrum Fundamentals and Understanding the Scrum Framework
    Participants learn what Scrum is, what it is used for, and why it is suitable for working on complex tasks and products that require adaptability and regular value delivery.
  5. The Scrum Team and Roles
    This unit covers the composition of the Scrum team and the core roles within the framework, with an emphasis on responsibilities, collaboration, and the contribution of each role to the successful work of the team.
  6. Scrum Ceremonies and Scrum Artefacts
    This unit focuses on understanding the key Scrum events and artefacts and their role in work planning, progress tracking, and delivering results.
  7. The Purpose and Importance of Feedback
    Participants develop an understanding of the importance of feedback in agile work, especially in the context of shorter work cycles, learning, and continuous improvement.
  8. Practical Exercises, Simulations, and Training
    The final part of the programme is focused on applying the knowledge acquired through practical tasks, simulations, and training based on Scrum principles.
