PM2 Methodology for Project Management

The program aims to provide an overview of the development and current use of the PM2 methodology developed by the European Commission (EC).
The methodology is supported by various European Union institutions with the idea of "One common PM Methodology open to all EU Institutions, Member States, Contractors, and EU Citizens."

Developed since 2007, it was initially intended for EC internal projects only, but since 2016, there has been a stronger initiative to spread the free and open methodology to all institutions, participants, and other stakeholders of EU projects.
The methodology is simple and flexible, very general and clear, and can be used in various types of projects. Due to its openness and transparency, it can be fully implemented or adapted to individual needs.
