Participants will master the rules for the preparation and implementation of infrastructural and large projects, with a special emphasis on the creation of feasibility studies and financial-economic analysis in the new financial perspective 2021–2027 and through the Next Generation EU instrument. They will specifically learn:
- Which EU funds finance large and infrastructural projects, under what conditions, and how to ensure that the project aligns with European and national strategic guidelines;
- What the project cycle of infrastructural and large projects looks like, what stages it consists of, and what the content of the preparatory documentation is;
- What data needs to be collected to begin the project/study preparation;
- What the content of the feasibility study is and how to prepare its narrative part;
- What the content of the financial-economic analysis is and how to prepare it;
- How to assess whether the project is financially or economically viable or non-viable;
- How to predict and overcome all situations that may occur in the preparation and implementation of projects, with an emphasis on the construction aspects of project implementation;
- How to prepare a comprehensive feasibility study with a financial-economic analysis on a given investment example that will serve as the final project and a prerequisite for taking the exam.
